  Summer was crazy busy with tourists. Now that fall is here it's almost nicer to go see things because there isn't hundreds of people trying to see it as well!

  I visited this National Park during 10- days guided bus tour through canadian provinces Alberta and British Columbia , Rocky Mountains and all National parks. Unforgettable tour, highly recommend it!

  Yoho National Park has some amazing sights to see which can be quite breath taking. The hiking trails all have easy access points which are marked well, vary from moderate to challenging. With the fossil beds guided tours are required if planning on visiting that aspect of Yoho National Park which can be arranged with Parks Canada. Winter allows for some cross country skiing as well. Field is main village located inside Yoho National Park with both Golden, BC and Lake Louise, AB being outside of this park boundary. Various accomodation options in Field which are primarily bed and breakfast style accommodations. Quainte town, with some cool sights to see.

  Yoho national park is a stunning park that is easily accessible as a day trip from Calgary. There are many places to hike, bike or ski tour. Like the other parks around it, it requires a park pass and is a national park.

  It is well worth the visit in anytime of the year, as the views are breathtaking from almost any angle.

  Beautiful place to visit! I love that fact that you can pretty much drive 15 minutes any direction and see some kind of different landmark. It's beautiful and no nice to see during Canada 150 because it's free!

  You get into Yoho Nat. Park after going west from lake Louise ( Banff National park, Alberta) , crossing border to British Columbia and Continental divide. As you are in Rocky Mountains, you are on very high altitude, surrounded by pristine nature, a lot of wild life. You can visit mountain lakes ( like Emerald lake with fantastic emerald water), Kicking horse river with spectacular waterfalls, Natural bridge waterfall, " 28 peaks - object of UNESCO and everything is remarkable. "Yoho! " - was Indians exclamation of awe and delight caused by views of this place.

  If I could retire it would be to the Canadian Rockies. The whole area is outstanding and amazing scenery. We were there in June, it was still chilly and snow was still on the peaks but unfortunately no skiing open. Glacial lakes, mountain walks, just everything awesome!
